First-Connection Path

VPN Beginner Connection Guide

Work through the account, plan, subscription, client, and route steps in that order. Handle one task at a time and move on only after it is complete, so you do not configure the client before obtaining a subscription.

PREP

Before You Start

Confirm the Order of Operations

The basic relationship is simple: your account gets you into the user panel, your plan determines whether the subscription is available, the subscription delivers route settings to the client, and the client establishes the system connection. If the order is wrong, you may have the client installed but no routes to choose from, or you may have copied a sample URL and still see an empty list after updating. First confirm the plan status in the panel, then copy the subscription belonging to the current account.

Before you begin, prepare the device you want to connect and make sure its system time and time zone are correct. Browsers and clients rely on system time for secure connections, and a clock mismatch can cause sign-in or subscription updates to fail. This guide does not provide static installers or display real subscription URLs. Get the client, subscription, and account status from the user panel, and follow what it currently shows.

If you have already created an account and placed an order, jump to “Get Your Subscription” using the directory above. If you are troubleshooting dropped connections, an app that will not load, or an unexpected streaming region, this page covers only the basic checks. For more detailed troubleshooting, visit the Help Center; route behavior and streaming region rules are covered in the complete access guide.

STEP A

Account Access

Create an Account and Open the Panel

Open VPNKF’s account creation page, choose a username that is easy for you to recognize, and set a strong password. VPNKF does not require an email address; your username and password will be the credentials for the user panel. Check the password twice before submitting. If your browser offers to save credentials, decide whether to use it based on how you manage your device.

After a successful submission, the user panel will open. First check that the account overview, Plans, and client download sections in the navigation load normally. A newly created account may not have an active subscription yet, so do not repeatedly click the subscription copy button at this stage. Go to the Plans section next and choose a monthly subscription or data package based on how you expect to use it.

If the page says the username is already taken, return to the field and choose another one; there is no need to open multiple windows. If you remain on the same page after submitting, check the validation message near the input, correct the format, and submit again. If you need to return after closing the page, use the “Log in” link in the header and enter the username and password you just set.

NEXT

Once the account panel opens normally, continue by choosing a plan and confirming the subscription status.

STEP B

Plans and Payment

Choose Your Data Allowance and Place the Order

Open the Plans section in the user panel and first distinguish between monthly subscriptions and data packages. Monthly subscriptions come in three tiers: ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB, and ¥28/month with 500GB. Data resets monthly on the activation date. Data packages remain valid permanently until used up: ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB. For regular use, compare monthly plans against your expected allowance; if your usage varies, check whether a data package is a better fit.

After choosing a plan, open the order confirmation screen and carefully check the plan name, allowance, price, and payment method. VPNKF supports Alipay, WeChat Pay, and USDT. Continue only after confirming the details, and do not use the browser Back button to resubmit the same order. If payment is complete but the panel has not updated, return to the account overview and refresh the status instead of paying again immediately.

If you upgrade a monthly subscription partway through its term, the price difference is prorated against the remaining days. Every tier supports unlimited simultaneous devices and includes a 7-day no-questions-asked refund. The goal here is simply to activate a usable subscription; you do not need to choose your everyday route yet. You can switch regions at any time after importing the subscription into the client.

Once the order status shows as active, return to the account overview. The panel should now show subscription actions and your current plan details. If the order is still processing, wait for the panel to synchronize and avoid creating multiple identical orders. For more information about order status or refunds, see the relevant section in the Help Center.

NEXT

Confirm that the plan is active, then copy the subscription from the account overview. Do not use the sample URL in this guide.

STEP C

Configuration Source

Get Your Subscription from the User Panel

Open the account overview and find the subscription details. Copy the subscription using the option provided by the panel, or select the import method for your current device. Because the subscription contains the routes available to your account, get it only from the signed-in panel. After copying, do not store it in a chat or public document; switch directly to the client and import it.

A subscription URL is usually a URL. The https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN shown in this guide is an obviously fake example used only to illustrate the format. It cannot connect to VPNKF and should not be pasted into a client. The real URL is shown by the user panel for the current account. If the copied URL appears truncated, click the panel’s copy button again instead of manually selecting it and risking missing characters.

A subscription is not a single fixed route. Think of it as an updateable route directory: the client reads the subscription and generates a list of regions and routes. When routes change on the service side, update the subscription to sync the latest list. After the first import, keep the subscription configuration in the client; you will not need to copy the URL again every time you switch regions.

Once the subscription is copied, open the section for your device platform.

STEP D

Device Setup

Import the Client on Each Platform

First open the client downloads section in the user panel. The panel provides the VPNKF client or installation instructions for your operating system, with the relevant download available to accounts with an active plan. This guide does not provide direct installer links, and downloading files with the same name from unknown sources is not recommended. After installation, follow the platform steps below to import the subscription you copied.

Windows

Download the Windows client from the panel’s Downloads section and install it. After launching it, look for subscription management in the main window or sidebar. Common labels include “Add Subscription,” “Import URL,” and “Remote Configuration.” Add a new entry, paste the subscription URL copied from the panel, give the configuration an easy-to-recognize name, and save it.

After saving, select “Update” or “Refresh Subscription.” When regional names appear in the route list, return to the client home screen and confirm that the selected configuration is the subscription you just added. If the system asks for network permission, follow its instructions to allow the client to connect. Do not run other similar network tools at the same time, as multiple proxy configurations may compete for control of the system connection.

macOS

Open the macOS installation guide in the user panel’s Downloads section, get the appropriate client, and complete the installation using the system prompts. On first launch, macOS may ask you to approve a network extension or connection configuration from the app. Complete the system authorization first, then open the client’s configuration or subscription page and choose to add a remote subscription by URL.

Paste the subscription URL and save it, then select Update. After a successful update, the routes will appear in the node or proxy list. If a client status icon appears in the menu bar, use it to quickly choose a route and connection mode; otherwise, work from the client’s main window. Until system authorization is complete, a route may appear without a connection being established, so check any confirmation dialog shown by the system.

Android

On your Android device, sign in to the user panel and get the VPNKF client and installation instructions from the Downloads section. After installing and opening it, go to the configuration, subscription, or profile page and tap the add button. Choose an option such as “Import from URL,” paste the subscription URL, save the name, and update the subscription. Wait for the region and route list to load.

The first time you connect, Android will display a system-level network permission dialog. Confirm it; a connection indicator will usually appear in the status bar. If a subscription update produces no result, switch to a regular network and try updating again instead of creating multiple identical configurations. After a successful import, keep one copy of the current subscription; duplicates make later route selection harder to follow.

iOS

Open the Downloads section of the user panel on your iOS device, review the compatible setup instructions, and get the client through the provided entry point. In the client, open the subscription, configuration, or remote resources page and choose to add one by URL. Paste the subscription URL copied from the account overview, save it, and update the list. Confirm that selectable regions are now shown.

On the first connection, iOS will ask to allow a system connection configuration and may require device verification. Follow the system prompts, return to the client, and check the connection status again. If another similar configuration already exists in system settings, there is no need to delete it arbitrarily; disconnect the old one first, then let the current client connect. Once the routes load, choose a destination region from the list.

NEXT

On any platform, once the route list is visible, you can move on to choosing a route and connecting.

STEP E

Route Selection

Choose a Region and Connect

You do not need to compare every route on your first connection. Start with a route in a nearby region such as Singapore, Japan, or Hong Kong, select Connect, and wait for the client status to change. VPNKF covers 120+ countries and 210+ routes, including IEPL dedicated routes, transit routes, and direct routes. At this stage, just confirm that a connection works; you can refine the choice later based on the service and region you need.

Once the client shows Connected, keep the current route for a moment instead of switching repeatedly. Refresh a page that was already open so the old connection cache is rebuilt. If you need content from a specific region, choose a route matching that region rather than simply choosing the closest one. Streaming, AI Tools, and ordinary websites use different methods to assess the exit region; see the complete access guide for the full explanation.

If the client returns to a disconnected state immediately after you connect, switch to another route in the same region and check whether the client has network permission. If no route connects, quit and reopen the client, then update the subscription once. Do not run multiple clients at the same time; normally, only one tool should control the current connection.

If the route connects but the target app does not change, close the app completely and reopen it. Some apps retain the network session created at launch, so switching routes in the client may not rebuild the connection immediately. In a browser, open a new private window for comparison to rule out cached content from an existing page.

STEP F

Result Check

Verify That the Connection Is Active

A connected status is only the first check; you also need to confirm that traffic is actually using the selected route. Open a page that displays the exit region and check whether it matches the region selected in the client. Then visit the website or app you actually need and check whether its sign-in page, images, and main features load normally. Your first setup is complete only when both the exit region and the target service behave as expected.

If the exit region is correct but the target service still reports a region mismatch, close the target app or browser tab, switch to another route in the same region, and open it again. The account’s own region, app cache, and the service’s detection methods can also affect the result, so do not judge a route from a single old page. For more about the relationship between streaming account regions and payment regions, continue with the complete access guide.

If the exit region does not change, return to the client and confirm that the current configuration is enabled and system connection authorization is still valid. On desktop, also check that the browser is not locked to a different proxy configuration. On mobile, disconnect and reconnect, then open a new page to check again. If the subscription list has not updated for a long time, return to the account overview, copy the subscription again, and replace the old URL in the client.

After verification, everyday use only requires opening the client, choosing a route, and connecting. The plan supports unlimited simultaneous devices, so you can import it separately on your Windows, macOS, Android, iOS, and Linux devices; keep the subscription details securely managed under your account. Monthly data resets on the activation date, and you can check the plan status in the user panel. Data packages remain valid permanently until used up.

First Connection Complete

From here, just update the subscription and switch routes as needed
